Thinking Virtually Banner Advert

making the web work

Hi I’m David Stump, thanks for looking at my at my ‘About Me’ page.

I’ve worked in sales and marketing for many years now for large organisations like Arthur Anderson and Deloitte as well as smaller boutique software houses.

Now I run my own business working with clients both large and small – all wanting to get more from the internet.

Go on then, 'How are you different?'

I’d like to think of myself as slightly different from the rest of the crowd; but to be honest who doesn’t? My approach is to look at what the business or organisation wants from their website and then look at all options for delivering it.

In the past I have developed corporate sites, fun and funky sites and advised on online and offline marketing ideas.

What am I interested in?

Currently the big thing is ‘Social Networking’ but I still like to bring it back down to earth and simply ask how is this going to pay?

After that many people want to speak to me about email marketing and 'Autoresponders', it's dull as dishwater sometimes but used well can really show results!

What do I do?

I work primarily as a consultant now alongside truly creative people and squinty eyed tech heads.

I see my purpose as being to understand from you what you want (then document it), then put together an action plan and work with great suppliers to get it.

The reality is that what I do, you can probably do; the question to ask is ‘are you the best person to do it?’ Unarguably you are probably the most knowledgeable person about your business, but do you understand new media and all the options, lingo, smoke and mirrors that come with it?

Keeping in contact!

I regularly update my blog, you can keep up to date with it via Facebook, Twitter or you can sign up to receive an alert every time I update it!

Lastly...

It costs nothing to ask a question, if you like my answer then there may well be a costs; if you don’t you’ll have my thoughts and it will not have cost you a cent!

Thanks for visiting my website.
