Beaumont Bookkeeping is #1

(This was posted 7 months, 2 weeks, 6 days, 21 hours, 7 minutes's ago.)

Beaumont Bookkeeping is #1 in Google in very quick time!

Beaumont Bookkeeping offer bookkeeping services in the Maldon area of Essex. The search phrase ‘Bookkeepers Maldon’ or ‘Maldon Bookkeepers’ was something that Beaumont really wanted to be found for.

The small website that we built for them (http://www.beaumont-bookkeeping.co.uk/) has now raced to the #1 position in Google for ‘Beaumont Bookkeeping’, ‘Maldon Bookkeepers’ and ‘Bookkeepers Maldon’.

For most businesses a website is essential, if for nothing else so that when somebody Google’s them they can be found – in this case the site also gets them found for something that could really help.

Busy, busy, busy!

(This was posted 8 months, 1 week, 4 days, 11 hours, 36 minutes's ago.)

I’ve been busy, busy, busy...

My son has not been well, lots of quotes to send and questions from friends and clients...

Not sure that I’m not a busy fool but the New Year is looking promising.

I swear to be back updating the blog, on a regular basis now – otherwise there was no point putting it here! Sounds like something I would say to a client...

So here is my thought for the day ‘when did you last look at your website?’ clearly I looked today...

Squeeze More Enquiries from your Website

(This was posted 8 months, 3 weeks, 4 days, 11 hours, 40 minutes's ago.)

Have you ever considered giving something away for free? Do you ever think that anybody actually gives anything away for free?

In association with another company we have been looking at doing just this, with the idea that what we are interested in is those that are interested in something that we do...

Sounds a little like double Dutch I know but think of it like this. We are interested in speaking to very small, start-up businesses; the problem is finding them and getting in front of them.

We are considering offering a ‘Free’ report of website development for small businesses. All we want to do is capture their details at the start of the process rather than at the point they are looking for a service provider.

We believe we have a great product to offer, by trying to get in front of a prospect as they are doing their research and giving them something of value we hope to be considered by that person when the day comes to get something done.

So why am I telling you our master plan? Well it’s not something new so we’ve not let the cat out of the bag or anything but is it something you could consider for your business? If you are a roofer could you offer roofing tips in order to find out details of people that are looking at roofing? If you are a wedding photographer could you offer some insight into getting the best from your wedding photographer on the day?

Just a thought...

I was sent this great article from the BBC that I just had to have on the site...

It's a little (well a lot) geeky but it's very cool and well worth a 5 min read!
