Beaumont Business Service - Success!

(This was posted 5 months, 3 weeks, 2 days, 4 hours, 55 minutes's ago.)

This is just a quick bit of news, relating to an email I had this morning from Beaumont Business Services.

Michelle Crockett receives a monthly update on how her keywords are performing from our automated keyword/phrase system; and I am copied into it for information purposes.

This month I emailed Michelle when the system email came into me and also mentioned that if you type ‘Bookkeepers Essex’ into Google she is in the #1 position on Google Maps.

This morning I had a lovely email from Michelle saying that she signed her first client up that she knew had come from the website because her contact with him started from the contact form on her site.

It’s the small things sometimes that make your day and I have to say that the email from Michelle has made mine today – thanks!

An updated website for Jo Curtis

(This was posted 6 months, 14 hours, 4 minutes's ago.)

The new Jo Curtis Photographer website is now live!

Jo Curtis is a photographer based in Southend that produces great wedding photography, portrait photography as well as baby photography and corporate photography.

Last year we built her a lovely new website and have done bit and pieces of updates and changes for her but this change is probably the best.

We have tried to refine the design a little; when you see it you will understand that there is very little to refine... We have made the administration easier, given her the ability to update her blog and have that flow through to her Facebook and twitter accounts and have added a captcha feature to her contact form.

All in all the website has always looked great (I think) but Jo understands that nothing stands still and small changes keep things fresh and avoid the need for major redevelopment.

Jo is a lovely person and a great photographer, good luck Jo.

PS. Here is a link to her website: http://www.jocurtisphotographer.co.uk

Belmont Laundry are doing well on Google

(This was posted 6 months, 1 week, 16 hours, 34 minutes's ago.)

Belmont Laundry have been providing a great linen hire service to London and the home counties since 1984.

The website that we built for them was designed to win them searches such as ‘hotel linen hire essex’ as this is their primary business.

The Belmont Laundry site is a simple design that we feel really works well with their existing branding.

We’d like to thank the Team at Belmont Laundry and wish the all the best of luck at their new premises.

A Lovely Restaurant - The Baytree, Melbourne, Derby

The Baytree Restaurant, Melbourne, Derby

The Baytree is a lovely restaurant in Melbourne, Derbyshire. The owners and staff are passionate about everything they do; and it really shows.

Some time ago we were asked to look at a website for them by Baseline Creative. Baseline had come up with an exquisite design and had arranged some delightful photography; all that was needed was the development.

The site is fully content managed and benefits from a really nice slideshow on the home page.

If you are ever in the area and want somewhere friendly and good to eat – get yourself to the Baytree.

The Edward Lloyd Trust – now on Facebook & Twitter!

(This was posted 6 months, 2 weeks, 2 days, 17 hours, 30 minutes's ago.)

The Edward Lloyd Trust – now on Facebook & Twitter!

About a year ago we redesigned and developed the Edward Lloyd Trust website. The design was in the capable hands of Baseline Creative and the development was carried out by us using ExpressionEngine.

In the last year there have been many new features added to ExpressionEngine as well as trends generally changing.

Last month we spoke with the team at ELT and proposed that we intergrate their news and events section with Facebook and Twitter so that they could spread the word about what they are doing quickly and easily!

So here it is, ELT v.2: http://www.edward-lloyd-trust.co.uk/.

It now sports links to its Facebook and Twitter account and whenever a News article or Event is put on the site both are updated.

As well as this we have done one or two things in the background that will make administering ExpressionEngine even easier!
