Planet Leasing were one of our first clients.

 

We met at a Essex Chamber of Commerce networking event where we spoke briefly about what they were doing and what they still had left to do.

 

They explained that they already had their logo but did not have a website...

 

In the beginning...

 

We designed the website as you see it today back in May/June 2007 and developed them a static site that perfectly met their needs at the time.

 

The site was optimised to be found for phrases such as ‘Planet Leasing’, ‘Car Leasing Essex’ and ‘Leasing Essex’.

 

Very quickly the site started to perform in the search engines and help Darren and Gary to spread their word.

 

Time for something else...

 

Early in 2008 we decided to put together some micro sites, so we looked at industry phrases and sourced domain names that could be used.

 

It took a long time for these micro sites to have any real effect but now their micro sites are typically on the home page of Google for their given phrases.

 

Google ‘saab leasing’ and you will find their micro site www.saableasing.net around position 4 or 5 on the Google home page.

 

A radical change to the backend...

 

Late 2008 we decided it was time to go for broke... we transferred their static web design over to a content managed system so they could quickly and easily update the offers and content of the site.

 

Summary

 

The site goes from strength to strength as new start-ups and other established businesses come and go in their area.

 

Their website has been given ‘Site Links’ by Google as a result of the volume of traffic and the popular sections of the site.
